Notice of Annual General Meeting and PROXY

Our Annual General Meeting for 2024 shall be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 12:00pm at the clubhouse. All eligible members are welcome to attend. There will be a report of financial and other matters and election of the 12th Board of Directors.
In accordance with bylaw requirements, an advertisement was posted on Trend Weekly newspapers on September 12, 2024 announcing the annual general meeting, inviting eligible members as of October 1, 2024 to stand for election for the next term, as well as asking for proposed agenda items. No agenda item was received by the deadline date. Therefore, no agenda item can be added on the date of the annual general meeting. A meeting of newly elected directors shall be held as soon as possible after the annual general meeting, and full board of directors including their new positions shall be announced as soon as possible thereafter.

If you are unable to attend, please complete and sign the attached proxy and return to us before December 8, 2024. You can either return the signed proxy to any of our 11th Board of Directors, or in person at our clubhouse between 1:30 and 4:00 PM on either November 24, 2024 or December 1, 2024 (blank forms shall be provided there), or by email either via the website or directly to shunde00@outlook.com, or by mail all arriving before the date of the Annual General Meeting.

AGM Proxy Form

Eligibility

Ages 12 or older with Shunde heritage. An applicant is considered of Shunde heritage if either the applicant, or his/her parents or spouse, is of Shunde descent.

Procedure

You can obtain a copy of the application form at our clubhouse (see below for our address and opening hours) or download the application form directly from our website. Submit the original copy of the signed form to us, and we shall be in touch with you within one week. All applications must be approved by us. Once your application is approved, we shall arrange for the collection of an annual membership fee of $10 per person.

Membership Fee

$10 per person per year. All memberships run concurrent with our financial year from April 1 to March 31. Payment is now due for the year 2024-2025.
